Midsummer

So we're all waiting for grandma, grandpa, Ellen and my friend Malin before lunch begins. I start getting hungry actually, haha!
But I must point out that I had a lovely breakfast this morning - strawberries with milk and a sandwhich.

Hm... plans for today? Malin will spend the night here. We'll most likely get our asses "downtown" and see if we find anything/anyone interesting. I think this will be a good day :]

Last week at work. I feel very relieved, but at the same time grateful for having a job.
It's funny how exhausted one can be after 8 hours of gardening, hehe.

New design, new start?

Yay, it's been so so so long since I last updated my blog, so now when friday is here and everything I decided to make a little post. And a new fresh start needs a new fresh look, hm? ;)
I really like it to be honest.

So! A lot of things has happened, and my life's great. I shouldn't complain at all. And I'm currently working at the graveyard. Gardeningstuff. It is harder than it seems but I get to listen to a lot of music - which is grate. I don't know how much I'm been listening to K'naan recently. I really like him. Check him out! And listen to what he has to say.

A quick update of what's happened:

• I got a job for the summer
  
• Mom and her "boyfriend" got married. (The most beautiful wedding I've seen actually)
• I got a tattoo (a text in my left wrist saying "dare to believe". It is so true. No matter what, it will happen if you want to, and if you dare to believe it will)
  
• Africa and love are the two main topics in life right now, hehe
• I've had tons of fun with friends and got real good plans for the summer!

Rain, coffee and a very bad cold

Home from school. My throat is sore and I feel slightly dizzy.
I will be working from here though, just so my friends don't think I abandoned them completely, hehe.
These last few days have been a roller coaster, indeed. My head has been preoccupied to the fullest with several things. I'm desperately looking for that flow I felt a few weeks ago. I don't know where it went but I pray for it to come back and find me.
It's gotta be true that you have to get down in the dirt before things get better. 'Cause they always do. For me at least. Some way or another I always end up on top of "my mountain".
It really is a challenge to climb the personal Mt. Everest every now and then though. We just have to make sure we keep our eyes at the top. Some of us might fall, but don't let that prevent you from trying again. And again, and again, and again. After a while we see the pattern in our falls and hopefully we try another path. It's up to you. And it's up to me.
Maybe we're climbing the same mountain and if then, I'm more than willing to help you.

It's just me and Molly (the dog) at home. Grandma and grandpa took off to China yesterday so we're "baby-sitting" her. It is very cosy to have pets around to keep you company.
I think it's time for us to take a short walk in the rain.

Today is... a good day!

Sun's shining and I'm currently in school together with Bauke and Memmie. I tried to write a short article about Lakene cheese farm but my head's spinning around, haha.

I feel good. Yes, I do.

Memmie and I will spend this evening at her place and just do cosy stuff. Eat taco, watch movies, talk and just have a good time. I like being in her apartment. It's like walking inside an extremely colorfull bubble. The atmosphere is so relaxed in there and I feel very comfortable :]

It's great to have places like that.

In school

Yes, I'm back in school before our trip to France. To be honesst I don't really have a reason to be here. The teachers I was supposed to meet are stuck in Italy and will come home on Thursday. But I don't wanna spend more time at home feeling sorry for myself and be all weird and pathetic about the whole situation. No no, it's better to be here with Memmie and Bauke :]

So far I don't have anything to complain about. I've got a few things done too. Like sending a poster! Yaay! Haha
