Tuesday

It's been an intensive day, but great! I had Memmie over for lunch since she's doing her vocational training at a local photo store. I managed to have lunch ready just in time for her arrival and we enjoyed a delicious (if I may say so) caesarsallat with chicken, and after that - a cop of coffee with a piece of dark chocolate.

I've almost finished the poster for Lonesome Mountaineers, and I think they like the idea.
I also managed to change my bus ticket for my trip to Hilma this weekend (actually, it was the busticket back home) and also the flight ticket for my flight back home from London.
Gosh, changing a ticket of any kind is really a hell of a mission itself. Thank God I had the time to workout this morning, otherwise I would have collapsed today, haha! No, it wasn't that bad, but I'm not lying when I say I look forward to go to bed in just a few. Maybe I will be able to fall asleep in time tonight!

Excitement takeover

I must say that I am very excited about this year. Well, the first half of it at least 'cause I have no idea what's going to happen after I graduate. It is total black for me. Or should I say "blank"? "Black" sounds boring. "Blank" is exciting. It means I can do whatever pops up in my mind! Yes! Blank it is.
I believe I am very open minded about it though, and I really want to work.
My teacher wanted me to "have a plan" when I come back from my vocational training. "A plan" about what to do after I graduate. Gosh!

Anyway!

Swedish Idol

I'll take this in swedish.

Okey, mycket skriverier om att vår kära Idol-Jay har rökt hasch och sådär. Många har påverkats utav detta och undrar varför "Idol stöder knark". Stopp och belägg!

Enligt min mening ska man faktiskt skilja på personen som tagit droger och själva drogerna. Alla gör fel ibland, men det betyder inte att det är fel på personerna. Jay förtjänar en ny chans. Han gjorde fel, men det betyder inte att han är ett fel. Han är inte knarket.

Jag kan bli så trött på folk som hela tiden smutskastar människor som har någon form av relation till narkotika. Det finns en anledning till allt det där, och om man varken vet eller förstår anledningen till det så har man ingen rätt att överhuvudtaget döma en person på det sättet. Aldrig någonsin. Förstår man varför någon agerar/reagerar på ett visst sätt så kan man lättare ge personen en ärlig chans. Som sagt, skilj på personen och problemen de har/har haft!

Jag står på Jays sida, verkligen, och jag hoppas han tar hem detta för det förtjänar han. Punkt.

Long time no see

I have been gone for quite some time, I know. And the photos from Japan could be seen on my Facebook (Vicki Lidén). I'll upload a few here too though.

Anyway. Winter came yesterday evening, and we already have a thick layer of snow covering the ground. But, together with snow and the song "Sad Story" of Ry Cooder, it can't be anything else but perfect. I think I've missed winter actually.
Somehow, everything gets very peaceful and calm during this time. It is quiet and just... very beautiful. I like winter.

Back home from a great trip

I am back home from Japan.
It has been one of the greatest experiences I have ever had in my entire life, I swear. Everything is so different from Sweden.
The travelers were me, a friend from school (Fredrik) and two teachers (Laurence and Mats) and our surpose with the trip was to explore differences and similarities between the Swedish and Japanese graphic design industry. We also made new contacts and talked about future cooperation between Broby Grafiska and Tetra Pak in Gotemba, Hirosaki University, Bunaco, and me and Fredrik even gave a cooperation proposal to Toyo Ink when we attended Asians largest packaging show - Tokyo Pack 2010. They said they would talk to the person in charge of such questions and get in touch later.

We also got to experience the Japanese culture, Tokyo, the beauty of Hirosaki and much more. Thank you all! And a special big thanks to our friend Koyata-san who showed us around in Hirosaki for a whole weekend. We all appreciated it so much.

I haven't got my photos yet, but I will upload tons of them as soon as I get them (which I think will be tomorrow). Just wait a little more.
